David - The Man with the Transparent Head. 2007
The story of David and the psychotic symptoms he experiences was in many ways an amalgamation of the most common stories that were told to us during the research. For the character of David I trialled a number of different drawing styles with patients in locked wards. They are often referred to in psychiatry as PICUs, People in Intensive Care Units.
