Wobbly Stan - The Benzo Man. 2011
Animated film (7 minutes 18)
Wobbly Stan was produced as an illicit benzodiazepine awareness campaign for Redcar and Cleveland. The film is based around research we did with users of this drug and tells the story of an older illicit benzo user, ‘Wobbly Stan’, trying to deter a younger user who is trying to score illicit benzos from him.
The story was loosely based on Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham. It features the voice of Mark Benton. Wobbly Stan was also used in a campaign by police in Dumfries and Galloway and won the National Scottish Policing Award in 2013.
